It’s a privilege to serve you. At Gisual, Inc. ("Gisual," "we," "our" or "us") we care about your personal information and take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy is created to detail how we collect and manage personal information. Personal information illustrates a particular individual, such as a person’s full name or other related contact information.

This Privacy Policy describes how Gisual collects, discloses, and otherwise processes the personal information we gather from visitors to our marketing website at gisual.com and www.gisual.com (the "Site"). It does not apply to the Gisual platform at app.gisual.com or to the Gisual API, which are covered by the Gisual Platform Privacy Policy.

By using the Site, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

Gisual receives and stores any information you knowingly provide to us. For example, when you request a demonstration or download a resource, we may collect personal information such as your name, business email address, company name, job title and telephone number. Certain information may be required to complete a request.

Whenever you interact with our Site, we automatically receive and record information from your browser or device, which may include your IP address, "cookie" information, the type of browser and device you’re using to access our Site, the site from which you came, the pages and features you visit, and how you interact with them. We also record a replay of your visit and any faults you encounter, so that we may improve the Site and fix technology problems.

We may use this data to provide a better experience for you while you use the Site, and to improve it. For example, this data can tell us how often visitors use a particular feature, and we can use that knowledge to make the Site interesting to as many visitors as possible.

Gisual sells its products to businesses. In order to understand which companies take an interest in our products, we work with providers that identify the business associated with a visit to our Site. Where we receive information about you that you did not provide, it reaches our providers from commercial data licensors, business directories and advertising networks. We do not display advertising on our Site.

We, and our third party partners, automatically collect certain types of usage information when you visit our Site, read our emails, or otherwise engage with us. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. Where your browser or a browser extension sends it, we load none of the tracking technologies described above on this Site. That covers the business identification providers, the advertising networks, our marketing and customer relationship provider, and our product analytics, including the session replay. You may record the same choice at Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not respond to the older Do Not Track header.

To stop every tracking technology we load on this Site, including our marketing and analytics providers, please visit Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information and select the opt-out. We will stop, and we will ask our providers to do the same.

Email Communications. From time to time, we may send you emails regarding updates to our products or services, or notices about our organization. Note that you cannot unsubscribe from certain email communications relating to a request you have made (e.g., confirmations of transactions, technical or legal notices).

Security. The security of your information is important to us. We serve our Site over an encrypted connection using Transport Layer Security (TLS). We comply with industry standards to preserve the integrity and security of your information.

No Internet transmission is fully secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the absolute security of any information you transmit or store.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose for which we collected it, after which we delete it or render it anonymous. In determining that period we consider our contact with you, whether you remain a prospective customer, and our legal, tax and accounting obligations. We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from the Site, nor the information or content contained therein. If you use a link to go from the Site to another website, we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Gisual holds the right to change our Privacy Policy. If we make changes we will post those changes on this page to keep you aware of any updates.

During the preceding twelve months we collected the categories of personal information described above: identifiers, professional or employment information, commercial information, internet activity, and inferences. We collect them from you, from your device, and from the providers described above, for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

California residents may ask what personal information we hold and how we use it, request a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of its disclosure to the advertising networks described above. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. We rely on the steps we take at your request before entering a contract in order to answer your enquiry; on our legitimate interest in reaching business customers in order to identify visitors and market our products, to which you may object at any time; and on compliance with a legal obligation where the law requires it.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to request a copy of your personal information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive it in a portable form.
